Luxe’Ami Ek South Shore GF Apartment by PolkaStays

Lovely apartment but few small things needed to make stay more comfortable Positive: -The property was obviously new and recently refurbished -Allocated parking space included at the back -Comfortable and large rooms -Staff were very quick to respond and support with queries -Good location right on south pier and about 30 minute walk to the towel and central pier etc. -Tea towels, wash stuff, shampoo etc included Negative: -The heating wasn’t on when we arrived and due to the size it took a long time to heat up in December. -There is no shelving in the bathroom to put anything near the sink and with 4/6 people staying I think it would be a struggle -No curtains in the lounge lack of privacy -No bedding for lounge - we were a family of 4 so just shared beds but would have been more convenient with a toddler to have the option there -No space for hanging coats or layers which in December we’re all wet and lots of layers we ended up having to pile on the table so we couldn’t eat there - No bath as advertised in multiple places. Lovely shower which is fine if you don’t need a bath but we had specifically looked for a bath as my toddler has sensory issues and would not use the shower. - codes on doors were quite annoying as different codes to remember for front, main and gates etc. instead of a key. - it was quiet the day we got there but busier over the weekend so if there were 3 cars in for the apartments parking could be an issue as the bin took up one space. - no sweeping brush or Hoover - 1 room had no space for hanging clothes and there was only 4/5 hangers in the other again if 6 stayed would have been an issue if you wanted to hang up. - lots of noise transfer from upstairs apartment must have checked in early hours one morning and you could hear everything downstairs even the TV - The big room smelt of weed the entire time we were there didn’t see anyone smoking while we were there but the room didn’t seem to lose the smell - no guide/ instruction book was told it was accessible through app but wasn’t something we could see - one in the apartment for heating etc or local shops would have been useful.

Positive: The location was great. The property was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Check in and check out was smooth. Negative: The bedrooms could use with some clothes storage solutions. The parking fee was quite high.

Positive: Was absolutely comfy and clean. Very modern. Had everything we needed from washing machine to dishwasher . Showers are spacious.. Beds weee very comfortable. Location was perfect too. Will be looking to book again for our next visit Negative: Could do with a small TV in the bedrooms. The WiFi was very slow in the bedrooms too.

Large and well equipped flat in a great location. Positive: Great location, spacious, comfy beds, good facilities. Negative: The door entry system is very tricky to operate.
