Loved the stay but check-in was confirmed at 3pm, we arrived at 5pm and the cleaners were still in the property doing a Positive: Loved the location and the space Negative: Property internally was looking tired, worn and a little dirty for the cost that was paid

Positive: The area, the property looks nice on pictures definitely but didn't deliver. However, good communication with Patrick who tried his outmost best to be responsive to our need. Negative: The bedsheets in the double single bed are unchanged, the pillow had an unpleasant smell, and there were dried blood stains on the bedding and bathroom floor. There was also dust on top of the sheets, hairs between the sheets, and even a clump of hair in one of the "fresh" towels. In addition, the freezer wasn't working. The listing was also misleading regarding the outdoor BBQ area, as there wasn't actually a suitable space to enjoy a barbecue. The property itself is a little run-down but undeniably beautiful and has plenty of potential. To the host's credit, they did try to help by offering to reimburse us if we purchased a BBQ kit ourselves, and they replaced the bedsheets the following day. However, as the property is in a remote location, sourcing BBQ equipment wasn't a practical priority during our short stay. Instead, all the food we'd bought for an outdoor BBQ with friends had to be cooked in the kitchen. Overall, these issues shouldn't occur, especially when guests book a property with high expectations based on the listing. Losing a night's sleep due to the condition of the bedding during a two-night stay significantly affected my experience. We hope the hosts address these issues and ensure the property matches the standard and description advertised in the future.

It was alright , not fun as much as we wanted . Positive: It was clean and spacious Negative: There was no terrace, and too much noise from living room while being in the bedroom sleeping. You can’t sleep while others being in the living room.?

Nice location didn't quite make up for shortcomings Positive: Old Corner Barn was in a nice location. The property was a good size with a variety of amenities. Negative: Unfortunately a dishwasher and crockpot in the kitchen don't make up for lack of basics like teatowels and a functional plug for the sink! There was no hand soap in either of the bathrooms - just empty "Polka Stays luxury handwash" bottles - we had to search and found some generic stuff hidden in a cupboard which we used to refill them all. There were no bathmats so had to use extra bathtowels. Worst of all - bedsheets on both queen size beds that did not fit - flat sheets (not fitted) on the bottom, that didn't even cover the mattress protector fully - yuck. And there was a very strange smell in the area near what may have been the boiler? Quite unpleasant chemical smell - so we kept windows open nearby to let in fresh air even though it was chilly. Unfortunately we had booked for 2 nights or we would have left the next morning.

Very dissapointed, freezing cold property, bare essentials only provided, terrible customer service Positive: It was clean and beds comfortable Negative: Had to chase entry code to get access after long cold wet hike, property was really cold and took a while to heat, no tea or coffee etc, which isn’t promised but you would normally expect, not enough cooking utensils pans etc I won’t go on as many other disappointments . Unfortunately we forgot electric cooler box ( not cheap one )and after many tries to recover been unable to retrieve and had no reply to last few communications, seems to be run by outsourced agency no personal service or customer care received Avoid this one
