Unsafe, do not stay here. Negative: PROPERTY NOT SAFE!! The front door off the main high street had no latch or lock, which meant anybody could walk in. Which they did. At 10pm a drunk man walked into our apartment as our friends were going out for a cigarette, at 11pm the same drunk man walked in off the street into the hallway and kicked the apartment door in, pulling the architrave off the wall which is what the apartment door latch was attached to. We had the top apartment booked out too but no longer felt safe to stay. Called The ‘emergency contact’ number, they offered an apartment that slept 4 although there was 11 of us and then they stopped communicating with us at 12:30am and got back in touch at 4:30pm the next day.

Highly recommend, hosts were constant with updates/communication, perfect location. Positive: Great central location, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Perfect location for going to the races. Very spacious apartment, which was perfect for the group size as we weren't on top of each other. Negative: Due to visiting around a heatwave, access to fans may have been beneficial, but apartments were big enough with large windows that we were able to get some airflow through.

Last minute booking and did have a great stay but luxury desciption is a bit of an overeach. Positive: Excellent location in the Rows. Large lounge kitchen with great windows for people gazing. Good shower in ensuite. Washing machine and dishwasher. Large TV. Negative: Superficially clean only. Refurbished but cheaply. Looks good for photos but not comfortable or durable. Heaters behind furniture. Missing extras like detergent for machine or tea/coffee and milk for first day. Pillows need replacing. Only one each. Needs maintenance. Others have given similar reviews but doesnt seem have changed things.

Perfect, Cosy & Affordable 👌 Positive: The property was very spacious, the rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. It’s in a perfect location, 15 mins from the Zoo, and everything else was in walking distance. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is staying in Chester. Negative: The only thing that let this property down and I am guessing its because of the old buildings, tank systems would be the lack of hot water, we went as a family of 5 and we couldn’t all have a shower in the morning as the hot water had run out. But again this isn’t a bad complaint just my honesty. It did not ruin the stay we just split the showers. Everything else was perfect :)
