Grosvenor Apt at The Stables Chester by PolkaStays

Small but cozy, great location to walk into Chester Negative: Only real issue was there was no hot water in the main bathroom sink at the Grosvenor Apartment.

Positive: Nice layout with modern fittings. Our daughter liked the "loft" style bedroom. Nice quiet location, close to canal which you could walk along up to the city centre. Negative: The person sleeping in the loft bedroom didn't have any privacy because the room could be seen from the street as the curtains in the living area don't cover the top portion of the window. Would be handy to have another frying pan just to make it easier for cooking multiple dishes, but this is just a minor point .

Lovely, clean apartment in great location. Positive: Modern apartment with all of the facilities we needed. Location was great and it was nice & quiet but easy to walk into town and to get to the train station. Very handy having an allocated parking space. It was very clean. Negative: I wasn’t aware that the twin beds were on a mezzanine level so that was interesting having to climb up into bed each night (especially as I was travelling with my 63 year old father!) but we coped. The bathroom was quite small and not ideal for my 6ft 5 brother in law either. I would suggest leaving a small face towel for each guest as well as a larger towel as we only had one bath towel each and a small hand towel for drying hands. We also ran out of loo roll pretty quickly so for a 3 night stay it would have been good if more was provided but we managed to get some from a local shop.

Would recommend and would definitely stay again! Positive: The apartment was beautiful, great location Negative: It was so hot, even without and heating devices on. Also could have been cleaner, lots of dust and crumbs when first arrived. The shower was very disappointing.
