Modernes Apartment mit großer Glasfront in Chester Positive: Sehr schönes und helles Apartment in einer netten Gegend von Chester. Man fühlt sich wohl. Die Ausstattung ist neu und modern. Die Dusche sauber. Das WLAN hat gut funktioniert und der Arbeitsplatz/Esstisch ideal für Menschen, die auch im Urlaub mal arbeiten müssen. Die Lage ist ruhig. Fußläufig sind Supermärkte erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren zumindest bei mir bei der Anreise zugegen und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Negative: Die Check-in Informationen bei meiner Last Minute-Buchung kamen etwas spät. Was mich nicht nur bei dieser Unterkunft, sondern auch bei anderen in UK ärgert, ist der zusätzliche Check-in mit Dokumenteneingabe und der Abbuchung (!) einer Kaution, die der Höhe der Kosten für die Übernachtung entspricht. Ich bin im Urlaub und habe keine Lust, mitten am Tag und in meinem Fall in einem Funkloch mühsam Dokumente hochzuladen und Daten auszufüllen, die booking.com bereits seit 20 Jahren von mir hat. Was soll das? Die zusätzlichen Kosten für das Parken waren mir bei der Buchung auch nicht klar. Etwas mehr Sorgfalt hätte ich mir beim Blick auf das Funktionieren etwa des Fernsehgeräts im Wohnzimmer oder beim Bügelbrett (das nicht stand) gewünscht. Gut wäre auch eine Küchenrolle oder ein Lappen für die Küche gewesen. Und der Aufforderung, den Müll zu entsorgen, wäre ich gern nachgekommen, wenn ich eine Mülltonne gefunden hätte.

The description, parking, noise of others and the building work which is ongoing should be addressed Positive: It did have the facilities needed and looked very presentable. Negative: Sadly quiet time wasn’t. At 2am in the morning there were extremely drunk people being very roudy, which concerned me being disabled. On top of this there were no disabled spaces, I needed to take up two spaces with my blue badge to which I was contacted about due to other people complaining. Sadly there is also building work going on literally outside the properties, which I wasn’t made aware of and that alone wasn’t easy. Part of the property had cobwebs which haven’t been cleaned in quite sometime, an oversight maybe, but I always speak with honesty and leave a property as I found it, clean and organised.

Good space but large security deposit required Positive: Good size apartment Negative: Poor customer service prior to stay, hefty ‘security deposit’ taken (not yet sure when this will be returned), lots of sugar and a few teabags left but no coffee in the flat, front door code seemed to be slightly temperamental

Lovely holiday home for short breaks away. Positive: The location was really good and was easy to find. Good facilities and my daughter loved the quirky bedroom on the mezzanine. Negative: There was scaffolding at the access gate, which was making access to the car park difficult, although that is not the fault of the property owner - well I don't think so anyway

Positive: Great location with plenty of pubs and restaurants, lovely canal walk on the door step. Negative: TV in the sitting room wouldnt work, the connection to the Internet was awful so no channels or apps would work, had to sit in the bedroom if we wanted to watch TV. There was no sponge/clothes to do the dishes with.
